British Association of Paintings Conservators-Restorers

The
British Association of Paintings Conservators-Restorers (BAPCR) was founded in 1943 as The Association of British Picture Restorers (ABPR). We are the professional organisation for conservator-restorers of paintings and have over 400 members internationally. Membership is open to paintings conservator-restorers from the private sector and from museums or public collection of art; to conservation scientists, students on conservation courses, and trainees in private studios. The object of the association is to advance the profession by providing means for continuing professional development and to provide a service to the public.
